WALK-IN AND MAKE A CANDLE:
Our walk-in candle making experience is a great way to customize your own clean burning scented candle. We invite you to mix and match your favorite fragrances to create a truly unique candle. We welcome walk-in candle making anytime when we do not have a class or private event scheduled. No appointment is necessary for our walk-in pour during the hours of 11-4pm (Sun - Fri) and 10am-5pm (Sat). Arrive during business hours and work through the process of making a candle on your own with easy to follow printed instructions and assistance if needed.
If you would like to reserve a time to create a custom candle, please sign up for a candle making class. Z CANDLES has daily candle making classes and we recommend signing up if you would like to reserve a specific time, or if you have more than 4 people looking to enjoy a custom candle creating experience. If you walk-in when we have a scheduled class getting started, then you are welcome to join the class for the class rate of $40. Please call Z CANDLES if you would like to reserve a class at a time not listed online, or if you would like to check that day's availability for walk-in candle making.
- WALK-IN PRICE: Prices start at $35 for 1 candle from our luxe vessel selection. You may add an additional luxe vessel to make a 2nd candle for $20. Most luxe vessels are approximately 11 ounces, and price and size may vary as Z CANDLES curates unique vessels from various sources.
- TIME: Allow 45 minutes to make your custom candle and approximately 1 hour to set. Typically, candles can be taken home after 1 hour of setting in our lab or you are welcome to pick up at another time that is convenient to you. Some candles may take more than 1 hour to set. Shipping is available for a flat fee of $12. You may choose to let your candle cure for 2 days to 2 weeks to optimize your fragrance. If you pour your candle less than one hour before closing time, then it will be ready for pickup the following day.

FAQ: What's the difference between a Candle Class and Walk-In Candle Making?
- Walk-In Candle Making is ideal if you'd like the convenience of dropping in at your leisure and you have a flexible schedule. Z classes have more hands-on instruction and candle education. Classes are recommended if you'd like to reserve a specific time or if you have a larger group. The Walk-In experience is $35 and the Class experience is $40 and includes a 10% discount on all our hand-poured candles in store on the day of your class + accessories as well.
Note: Children of all ages are welcome at Z CANDLES, while children under age 6 are not permitted in our candle lab area due to the pouring of hot wax and fragrance oils. Children age 6-9 yrs need to have one adult present per child and guests age 10-17 yrs to have at least 1 adult present on site during candles making.
